SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Employee’s responsibilities shall include: responsibility for field sales, technical support, past due collection, forecasting and budgeting for his/her assigned territory, plus any additional responsibilities assigned by the company in accordance with Company’s and NAMICS Corporation’s policies, strategies and goals, observing all US Federal and State Government laws, rules and regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

SALES

The management of multi-million-dollar semiconductor accounts, facilitating critical business issues worldwide through cross-functional teams. Responsible for Strategic Accounts within Western Territory of the United States. Applicant is expected to showcase NAMICS technical innovations and capabilities to customers with constant communication providing seamless customer support, updates to supervisor, and information back to headquarters in Japan.  Primary sales; insulating and conductive epoxy materials.  

To attend industry conferences and meetings as appropriate; IEEE, IMAPS, MEPTEC, ASME. Provide marketing for new products with technical papers & presentations and the development of mutually beneficial partnerships.

To support new business opportunities even though the sales may be outside of his/her territory

To continually build and improve relationships with customers in his/her territory

To prepare and update sales plans and forecasts for customers in his/her territory

ADMINISTRATION

Prepare quotes for customers using approved pricing and terms

Prepare monthly reports and other reports as requested

Coordinate customer service and warehouse as needed to support customers

Plan and make travel arrangements as necessary

Participate in appropriate training opportunities

Other tasks as may be assigned from time to time

TRAVEL

Travel to visit customers in his/her territory, to other events in the Americas, such as company meetings, trade shows, exhibitions & conferences and to NCJ headquarters in Japan is required. In addition, other travel outside the Americas may be necessary for customer support. Local US based travel 30%; International travel 5%. Locations: San Jose Area Possibly; Japan, Taiwan, Korea.

QUALIFICATIONS:

BS Degree or equivalent (MS Preferred), preferably in Chemistry / Engineering / Business. Business accepted with experience with semiconductor.

Minimum of five years’ experience within the Semiconductor Packaging industry (a plus). Knowledge of Semiconductor Packaging material selection / use / optimization, for BGA / CSP / FOWLP / Wire Bond and 2.5/3D TSV packages. Candidates who have experience with design and/or manufacturing of NAMICS materials are encouraged to apply.

Software capability: Microsoft Office, Basic Lotus Notes. Knowledge of; Social Media Marketing, Website creation, FEM/FEA, others a plus.

Active Membership and activity within professional society IEEE, IMAPS, MEPTEC, ASME a plus.

Languages; English. Japanese a plus.
